Dr. Margolin works in the psychiatric hospital where Kathleen Topolsky was held for three months.

In the episode ‘Crazy’ he comes to Roswell to find her, and return her to the hospital.

Later in the episode it is revealed that it wasn’t actually Dr. Margolin, but a shapeshifter impersonating him to keep the kids safe.
